Prix pour services insignes
Le prix pour services insignes vise à récompenser une personne ayant contribué de façon substantielle et pendant plusieurs années au fonctionnement ou à l’essor de la SSC.
Nominations
- Une candidature est minimalement constituée d’un curriculum vitæ à jour, de deux lettres d’appui et d’un court descriptif motivant l’attribution du prix.
- Les récipiendaires du Prix pour services insignes doivent être membres de la SSC.
- Les candidatures sont soumises au président du comité des prix à sscprix-pres@ssc.ca.
- La SSC valorise et encourage l'équité, la diversité et l'inclusion dans toutes ses nominations et récompenses. Veuillez consulter les lignes directrices de la SSC sur la partialité implicite (pdf).
Prof. Brajendra Sutradhar, Prix pour services insignes 2007
The Statistical Society of Canada has announced that Professor Brajendra Sutradhar has been awarded the 2007 SSC Distinguished Service Award. This award is given to a member of the SSC who has made substantial contributions to the running or welfare of the Society over a period of several years. The formal announcement of this award was made by SSC President Charmaine Dean at Memorial University of Newfoundland in St. John’s on the opening day of the 2007 SSC Annual Meeting.
Christian Léger, Prix pour services insignes 2009
The Statistical Society of Canada announced today that Professor Christian Léger has been awarded the 2009 SSC Distinguished Service Award. This award is given to a member of the SSC who has made substantial contributions to the running or welfare of the Society over a period of several years.
Román Viveros-Aguilera, Prix pour services insignes 2012
Román Viveros-Aguilera, a professor in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at McMaster University, is the recipient of the 2012 Distinguished Service Award of the Statistical Society of Canada. The announcement was made at the opening of the Society's Annual Meeting held in Guelph, ON, June 3-6, 2012. The award recognizes a member of the SSC who has made substantial contributions to the running or welfare of the SSC over a period of several years. It rewards devotion and service to statistics in Canada as shown by exceptional service to the SSC.
Nancy Reid, Prix pour services insignes 2013
The Recipient of the 2013 Distinguished Service Award of the Statistical Society of Canada is Professor Nancy Reid. The Distinguished Service Award is intended to honour a person who contributed substantially and over a period of several years to the operation or welfare of the SSC.
Mary Thompson, Prix pour services insignes 2014
La professeure Mary Thompson est la récipiendaire du prix pour services insignes 2014 de la Société statistique du Canada. Ce prix honore une personne qui a joué un rôle substantiel pour promouvoir la croissance et le succès de la communauté des sciences statistiques canadiennes par son leadership au sein de la SSC. Les nombreuses années de leadership dynamique et efficace de Mary Thompson ont grandement profité à notre société et ce prix constitue une reconnaissance judicieuse de son engagement à l’égard de notre discipline et de notre profession.
Shirley Mills, Prix pour services insignes 2015
La professeure Shirley Mills est la récipiendaire du prix pour services insignes 2015 de la Société statistique du Canada (SSC). Ce prix honore un individu qui a joué un rôle substantiel pour promouvoir la croissance et le succès de la communauté des sciences statistiques canadiennes, par son leadership au sein de la SSC.
