The VI Interdisciplinary International Conference on Applied Mathematics, Modelling and Computational Science

AMMCS-2023 is an interdisciplinary international conference in a series of AMMCS meetings held in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. It will take place from August 14–18, 2023 (http://ammcs.wlu.ca/). The AMMCS Conference Series aims at promoting interdisciplinary research and collaboration involving mathematical, computational, and experimental sciences within a larger international community, and highlighting recent advances in applied mathematics, modelling and computational science (AMMCS). It is the sixth conference in this series. You are invited to submit your abstract by going directly to the submission page at http://ammcs.wlu.ca/submit-abstracts/ to one of our special sessions, minisymposia, or contributed sessions (the submission will be open shortly). The deadline for special sessions and minisymposia proposals is February 15, 2023, and the instructions can be found at the “Call for Abstracts and MS Proposals” link at http://ammcs.wlu.ca/2023/special-sessions/

Located just west of Toronto in the Canada Research Triangle area, the city of Waterloo is home to two universities (the University of Waterloo and Wilfrid Laurier University), the Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics, and many other innovative institutions. The venue of the AMMCS-2023 is the Waterloo campus of the Wilfrid Laurier University, the oldest university in the tri-city of Cambridge, Kitchener, Waterloo, and the Guelph areas. It is a beautiful part of Canada located in a comfortable driving distance from some of North America's most spectacular tourist destinations, including the Niagara Escarpment, a UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve.

AMMCS-2023 is a major international forum for the exchange of ideas in an interdisciplinary setting with a focus on mathematical and computational sciences, as well as their applications in natural and social sciences, engineering and technology, industry and finance. The 2023 meeting will follow the traditions of highly successful previous biennial meetings in this series. The conference features distinguished plenary and semi-speakers. Refereed proceedings will be published by Springer. A number of prizes for students and young researchers will be awarded at the conference, including the Kolmogorov-Wiener Prize. Travel scholarships for students are available on a competitive basis.

We look forward to welcoming you to Waterloo on the occasion of this exciting interdisciplinary event.
