Welcome! The SSC's New Investigator Committee exists to engage new investigators across Canada and to provide support, resources, and camaraderie during these important and early years of an academic career. Specifically, we define a new investigator to be someone that is within 5 years of beginning their first academic appointment (i.e., postdoctoral fellow or assistant professor), and within 10 years of completing their PhD program. If you fit this description, then we are here to help you!
