The workshops are training activities organized by the SSC Sections. Workshops will be held on Sunday May 31st. They are targeted to all meeting participants, including students. Registration is required to attend a workshop. You will be charged a fee for the workshop to which you register and may register for a maximum of one workshop. NOTE: Lunch on May 31st is included in all Workshop registrations.

Information concerning your upcoming workshop at the SSC Annual Meeting

  • Please check the online program for your room assignment; all workshops are taking place on the first floor of the Michael DeGroote Centre for Learning and Discovery (MDCL). Angelo Canty will be available on site as of 8:00 on Sunday and will make sure that your room is open.
  • Volunteers will be available for technical support between 9:00 - 12:00 and 13:30 - 16:30; each volunteer will be responsible for two workshops taking place in adjacent rooms.
  • Coffee breaks for workshop participants and organizers are scheduled for 10:00 - 10:30 and 15:00 - 15:30 and will be available on the first floor of the MDCL building (for workshop participants and organizer(s)).
  • Lunches for workshop participants and organizers are provided between 12:00 and 13:30 in the CIBC Hall in the nearby McMaster University Student Centre (MUSC).
  • If you need, you can use your own laptop or iPad, there is a projector with standard connecting cables (including HDMI and USB-C) in the room.
