This workshop introduces participants to creating aesthetic and informative visualizations using the R ggplot2 package and the Grammar of Graphics framework. The session covers foundational concepts, advanced customization techniques (e.g., scales, faceting, themes), and specialized visualizations like heatmaps and Kaplan-Meier curves, with interactive capabilities using plotly and an overview of Shiny. Via hands-on demonstrations, participants will gain practical skills to tailor visualizations for effective data storytelling and audience engagement.
