The SSC is again funding Annual Meeting Student Grants for students from Canadian Universities attending the 2022 SSC annual meeting. These grants are funded by the Society.
Who is eligible:
Any full-time student at a Canadian University presenting a poster or giving a talk in a Contributed or Invited Paper Session. In the case of multiple authors, only one grant will be given per presentation.
Who is ineligible:
A student who has received an SSC Student Travel Award in 2019 or an SSC Annual Meeting Student Grants in 2021, or a student that is only attending the SSC Student Conference, or a student who is only participating in the Case Studies Competition.
This grant is to be used towards costs to the conference up to a maximum of $100.
To apply for the grant, please
- submit an abstract to the 2022 Annual Meeting by February 18, 2022 (see How to Submit an Abstract),
and - email your application (incl. the submitted abstract) to Dr. Sévérien Nkurunziza, Chair of the Student Travel Grants Committee, at sscstudtrav@ssc.ca by March 1, 2022.
- ask your supervisor to send an email, indicating that you are either (a) currently a full-time student, or (b) were a full-time student on December 31, 2021, to the Chair of the Student Travel Grants Committee, sscstudtrav@ssc.ca by March 15, 2022.
