Professor Shirley Mills is the recipient of the 2015 Distinguished Service Award from the Statistical Society of Canada (SSC). This award honors an individual who has played an important and substantial role in fostering the growth and success of the Canadian Statistical Sciences community through leadership in the SSC.

Professor John Koval is the recipient of the 2016 Distinguished Service Award from the Statistical Society of Canada (SSC). This award honours an individual who has played an important and substantial role in fostering the growth and success of the Canadian Statistical Sciences community through leadership in the SSC.

The 2010 Distinguished Service Award is awarded to Paul Cabilio, Professor Emeritus of Mathematics and Statistics at Acadia University, Wolfville. This award is given at most once a year to a member of the Statistical Society of Canada who contributed substantially and over a period of several years to the operation or welfare of the SSC.
