The Canadian Journal of Statistics Award is presented each year by the Statistical Society of Canada to the author(s) of an article published in the Journal, in recognition of the outstanding quality of the methodological innovation and presentation. The award includes a \$2,000 cash prize sponsored by Wiley.

Nominations
  • The year 20XX Canadian Journal of Statistics Award will be given to the author(s) of the best paper from the 20XX volume of the Journal selected by the Committee in March or April of year 20XX + 1.
  • The criteria to be used for selection are excellence, innovation, and presentation.
  • The award will be presented at the 20XX + 1 Annual Meeting of the Society.
  • The author(s) of the winning paper will be invited to present the paper at an invited session at the Annual Meeting at which they receive the award.
