The Manager, Data and Analytics role serves as the primary expert on and resource for data, metrics, and benchmarking in the Dean's Office in the Schulich School of Business. Reporting to the Director, Strategic Policy & Planning (Director) the role collects, archives, updates and secures data from internal and external qualitative and quantitative sources, performs data analysis, prepares compelling interpretations and visualizations, reviews the resulting academic reports for accuracy, and provides updates to senior leadership. The Manager, Data & Analytics role participates in the design and setup of appropriate information systems for the purpose of collecting/deriving competitive, strategic, and academic data.

To be considered for this opportunity, you will bring the following:

Education:

  • University degree in a relevant discipline, such as Statistics, Mathematics, Analytics, Economics or Business Administration is required.
  • Master's degree preferred.

Experience:

  • Five (5) years' related experience in post-secondary academic program administration gathering various types of statistical data, analyzing data management and policy analysis formulation and implementation.
  • Experience with data analytics tools, techniques, and reporting.
  • Three (3) years of management experience leading employees and interacting with senior administrators.
