CRM STATLAB–CANSSI Postdoctoral Fellowship 2022–2023

Applications are invited for the CRM StatLab–CANSSI Postdoctoral Fellowship in statistics. Applications are due on January 31, 2023 for a position beginning April 1, 2023.

Postdoctoral fellowships are available to candidates working under the supervision of at least one member of the CRM StatLab (list). Candidates should have received their PhD no more than 3 years prior to the start of their term, and must have fulfilled all PhD requirements by the time of taking up the award. Candidates graduating from institutions outside of Quebec are preferred.

CRM StatLab, CANSSI, and the supervisor(s) will ensure a minimum salary of $53,000. The successful candidate will be designated a “CRM StatLab–CANSSI Postdoctoral Fellow” for a period of 1 year, starting any time between April 1 and October 31 of the designated year; the funds must be paid by the end of March of the following year.

An application includes: (i) a presentation letter including a description of research interests and research program; (ii) the candidate’s CV; (iii) electronic copies of articles, theses, research reports, etc. Candidates must prepare the application using the guidelines presented here and send it to Erica.Moodie@McGill.ca by January 31, 2023. Candidates should arrange to have letters of recommendation sent independently.
