The Department of Statistics at the University of British Columbia (UBC) invites applications for a Canada Research Chair (CRC) - Tier II, in the area of Statistical Genomics. This will be a tenure-track appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor. The position is subject to final budgetary approval, and the individual selected will be subject to review and final approval by the CRC secretariat. The anticipated start date is July 1, 2012, provided CRC approval is obtained before then.
