The 29th annual meeting of the Statistical Society of Canada (SSC) will be held from Sunday June 10 through Thursday June 14 2001 on the campus of Simon Fraser University (SFU) in Burnaby, British Columbia. The meeting is being held jointly with the Western North American Region of the International Biometric Society (WNAR) and the Institute for Mathematical Statistics (IMS). The conference will bring together researchers and users of statistics and probability from academia, government and industry. 
 

Simon Fraser University is especially pleased to host the meeting as it celebrates the creation of its newly formed Department of Statistics and Actuarial Science.
