The Department of Epidemiology, Biostatistics and Occupational Health, Faculty of Medicine, McGill University, invites applications for a position as an Assistant Professor of Biostatistics [Tenure Track].
Candidates must have a doctorate in statistics or biostatistics and relevant research experience in biostatistics. Necessary qualifications for the position include evidence of research productivity (peer-reviewed publications) and a strong commitment to excellence in teaching. The successful candidate will have potential or proven ability to develop an internationally recognized research program in Biostatistics, a demonstrated ability to obtain grants for their own research and to contribute to the building of successful research projects and programs in public and population health, in health services and policy, or in clinical research.
Faculty members are responsible for conducting a strong research program and for supervising graduate trainees. The candidate will be expected to teach graduate level students in the Master’s and PhD programs in both Biostatistics and Epidemiology. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
