BIOSTATISTICIAN

One of my clients, a CRO (Clinical Research organization) in great expansion has the  following position they are looking to fill ASAP:  

Key Responsibilities:

This position serves as the primary statistical role which is accountable for coaching, mentoring and developing, other statisticians and programmers. Provide technical review, advise and expertise in statistical and data management methods and techniques to internal Statisticians, Programmers and Data Managers. In addition to the technical accountabilities, this position assumes project management responsibilities in directing and managing statistical and data management team activities for clinical trials from the development of study protocols to the completion of study reports. May represent division and the company, participate in business development and is a key contact regarding customer relationship management activities, and provide leadership in executing divisional and corporate plans. 

Qualifications and Experience: 

A Ph.D. degree or equivalent in statistical science, mathematical analysis or related field plus 5-7 years relevant experience or a master’s degree plus 10 years relevant experience with demonstrated ability and sustained performance at the Ph.D. level. 

Must have strong technical competence in SAS programming and Statistical sample size calculation software.. Incumbent must  have strong English language  skills.  

Location: Markham, ON  (Relocation package offered)

Salary: 80K-115K + bonus + benefits + 4 weeks vacation
