Crawford Lake, Iroquois village and Mohawk Raceway (fee event), 5:50 pm. Rozanski Hall.
Crawford lake, a rare meromictic lake - where the water does not mix vertically - sits atop the Niagara escarpment. Visit a 15th century Iroquoian village that has been reconstructed on its original site. The rustic longhouses, with their tools, animal hides and the smell of smoke let you experience the lives of Ontario’s original inhabitants. After exploring Crawford Lake and the Iroquoian longhouses, board the coaches for the short ride to Mohawk raceway where you will enjoy a buffet dinner while watching harness racing in action. You will also have the opportunity to put your stochastic and risk management skills into action.
