Thomas Imbeault-Nepton from the Saguenay--Lac Saint-Jean region in Québec won the Biostatistics Section Award for the 2016 Canada Wide Science Fair. Thomas is a long time participant to Science Fairs, winning numerous awards since 2013. In his 2016 project entitled "Éclaire ton attention!", Thomas looked at the comparative effect of different sources of light (typical, intense and blue) on sustained attention. His results led to suggestions on the optimization of lighting that could help those suffering from attention disorder. In addition to the SSC award, Thomas was awarded the Silver medal as well as entrance scolarships from a Canadian university. You may consult Thomas' profile here .
