LAROCQUE, Maxime #212
a

I am a statistician and data scientist with a focus on predictive modelling, especially within the context of insurance and financial services. Throughout my graduate studies and beyond, I have given much attention to the topic of feature selection, and consequently, developed a significant expertise with regards to genetic algorithms and their many offshoots and crossovers. Multiple years in the industry have also provided me with experience in machine learning (ML) engineering, that is, implementing end-to-end services, allowing for the proper consumption of data science machine learning (DSML) solutions.

TRENOU, Clement Kossi #175

Studying for a master's degree in biostatistics with a thesis at Université Laval, I hold a diploma in statistical engineering from the École nationale de la Statistique et de l'Analyse économique in Dakar-Senegal. I also hold the STAT ASSQ designation from the Association des statisticiens et statisticiennes du Québec, and my skills lie in statistical survey design, data collection application development, processing and analysis. Calm by nature, but fairly impulsive and rigorous in my work, I am driven by the spirit of a job well done. Very creative with ideas and brimming with imagination, I like to seize the slightest opportunity to share my know-how and skills with those around me. As a result, I have helped set up a number of development projects in my country, particularly in the fields of education, health, and the environment; this helped me a great deal in obtaining the Citizens of the World Commitment scholarship from Université Laval. My greatest challenge is to work for the development of all the world's societies in general, taking into account the challenges of climate change.
