The SSC 2022 Virtual Annual Meeting will be holding a job fair May 30–June 3, 2022. The meeting runs 11 a.m.–5 p.m. EDT each day. Job applicants who are registered for the annual meeting can attend without further costs and can submit resumes and interact with recruiters. For those looking to hire someone, we have the following:
SSC 2022 (virtual) Recruiter's Package:
As part of the recruiter package, recruiters will be able to highlight their employment opportunities, connect with interested job applicants, and talk in one-on-one private meetings with undergraduate students, graduate students, postdocs, and early career researchers in the statistical sciences, including data science, actuarial science, biostatistics, business statistics, and survey methods. Specific 1.5-hour time blocks during the period May 30–June 3 will be available to meet with interested parties seeking information about co-ops, contract, part-time, and full-time work. All packages include the ability for recruiters to have two representatives available to meet individually with job candidates and to “attend” the SSC meeting sessions and events. All recruiters will have the ability to customize their own webpage for the conference to include their logo, information about their organization and about positions available. Recruiters and their logos will also be featured on the SSC 2022 Conference site.
The following are the costs for the packages available to recruiters (includes 2 registrants and unlimited number of jobs listed):
- Private sector: $1000
- Government agencies/universities/not-for-profits: $700
- SSC institutional members: $550
- Annual meeting registered SSC individual members: $250
