The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at McMaster University invites applications for one 12-month contractually limited appointment as a Lecturer or Assistant Professor. The starting date for this position is September 1, 2010 and the minimum annual salary for this position is $49,237 (Lecturer) and $60,997 (Assistant).

The successful candidate will typically have a PhD or MSc in Mathematics or Statistics with demonstrated scholarly and pedagogical strength in any area of Mathematics or Statistics. Preference will be given to candidates with a proven record of successful teaching of statistics courses at the university level.
