We would like to offer our sincere congratulations to Grace Yi as she was selected to become president of the Statistical Society of Canada for the period of July 1, 2021–June 30, 2022.

Two faculty of the Department of Statistical and Actuarial Sciences officially retired this past June 30, namely, David Stanford who joined the department in 1988 and recently received the 2020 Canadian Operational Research Society Award of Merit, and Bruce Jones who has been a member for 24 years and chair for five years. We are thankful for their respective contributions and wish them the best in their future endeavours.
