Brajendra Sutradhar (Local Arrangements Chair) and John Braun (Program Chair) welcome you to attend this meeting to be held for the second time in Canada’s most easterly province. Plan to join us in the oldest city of North America, known as the City of Legends, where you can view icebergs, watch whales, and experience Newfoundland’s unique culture.

The theme for this conference is Statistics and the Environment, chosen to reflect fisheries and ocean-related research. Although session organizers will be encouraged to make connections with this theme when possible, it is expected that there will be many sessions of broader statistical interest. As in previous years, three workshops in Biostatistics, Survey Sampling, and Industrial Statistics will be organized. In addition, case studies, contributed and poster sessions are planned.

Details about the programme can be found on ssc.ca as they become available. For information on the programme, contact John Braun and for information on local arrangements, contact Brajendra Sutradhar.

See you at Memorial!
