To Get to Guelph

By Air

Those travelling by air may fly into Pearson International Airport, Hamilton International Airport, Kitchener-Waterloo International Airport, Toronto City Airport or Buffalo Niagara International Airport. Red Car Service provides airport transportation to and from each of these airports.

Buffalo Niagara International Airport (BUF):    

  • 104 miles (2.5 hours) to Guelph.  You must cross the Canada/US border.

Airport Tansportation: Red Car Service provides airport transportation to Guelph from all of these airports.  A special $15 pre-tax discount per direction is offered for on-line bookings to and from Pearson, Hamilton and Waterloo. By Rail

Via Rail offers two or three times daily service in each direction, between Toronto and London, with connections to points east and west.    

Go Transit now offers both train and bus service to Guelph. Schedules are available here - select the Kitchener (formerly Georgetown) corridor.

By Bus

Greyhound and Aboutown Northlink (to and from Hamilton) offer service to Guelph.

 


 

Travel Within Guelph

Bus and train service both arrive at the new inter-modal transit terminal. City bus routes 2A or 3B will take you the 3 km from the inter-modal transit terminal to campus, for a $3 fare.  Either Canadian Cab (519.824.3110) or Red Top Taxi (519.821.1700) can also be used to travel throughout the City. The fare from the inter-modal transit terminal to campus is about $10.

Parking on Campus

Parking permits are required to park on campus Monday to Friday 8:00 to 17:00. Daily permits can be purchased for $7.96 plus tax per day, at the Registration desk. These permit you to park in lots P13, P14, P15 or P19 and must be displayed on the dashboard. P15 is the closest to Rozanski Hall, where most sessions will be held. For those staying in Residence, parking passes are included in the accommodation rates.
