2022 SSC Annual Meeting Student Grants
The SSC is again funding Annual Meeting Student Grants for students from Canadian Universities attending the 2022 SSC annual meeting. These grants are funded by the Society.
Who is eligible:
Any full-time student at a Canadian University presenting a poster or giving a talk in a Contributed or Invited Paper Session. In the case of multiple authors, only one grant will be given per presentation.
Who is ineligible:
A student who has received an SSC Student Travel Award in 2019 or an SSC Annual Meeting Student Grants in 2021, or a student that is only attending the SSC Student Conference, or a student who is only participating in the Case Studies Competition.
This grant is to be used towards costs to the conference up to a maximum of $100.
To apply for the grant, please
- submit an abstract to the 2022 Annual Meeting by February 18, 2022 (see How to Submit an Abstract),
- email your application (incl. the submitted abstract) to Dr. Sévérien Nkurunziza, Chair of the Student Travel Grants Committee, at firstname.lastname@example.org by March 1, 2022.
- ask your supervisor to send an email, indicating that you are either (a) currently a full-time student, or (b) were a full-time student on December 31, 2021, to the Chair of the Student Travel Grants Committee, email@example.com by March 15, 2022.
