With online and blended learning becoming more and more common, many of us are creating (or wanting to create) video lectures to supplement our classes. While the idea of creating a 'video' may be daunting at first, there are actually many easy entry-points into this. As academics, we have many demands on our time, and so we want to get the most for the least. In this talk I will present some low-barrier ways to get started, with a focus on getting pretty good quality videos without consuming too much of our valuable time. This talk is aimed at those with less experience (or no experience) creating video lectures, although those with lots of experience may also gain a few helpful tips. Most videos I have created can be previewed at www.youtube.com/marinstatlectures for those interested in seeing a sample of what I have done.
