Transportation - 2017 Annual Meeting

Being located at the geographical centre of Canada, Winnipeg is accessible through relatively short and direct flights from most major Canadian airports. Air Canada, WestJet and Newleaf offer a variety of flights to Winnipeg from different Canadian airports. From the US, Delta flies to Winnipeg from Minneapolis, United has flights from Denver and Chicago-O'Hare and WestJet has flights from Las Vegas and Phoenix.

The James Armstrong Richardson International Airport is conveniently located within the city limits, approximately 20 minutes from downtown Winnipeg and 25 minutes from the Conference location and nearby hotels. Public transit is available from the airport (route 15 will take you downtown); a taxi will cost \$20-25 to get downtown or to the Conference site. More details on ground transportation to and from the airport can be found here. Renting a car is another option and most major car rental companies offer pick up/drop off options from the airport. More details can be found here.

Unfortunately, there is NO shuttle service from the Winnipeg Airport, but some hotels do offer free shuttles to/from the airport.
