Work where you matter. Vancouver Island University is an amazing place of opportunity and we are currently looking for a Senior Research Analyst, Program Quality for a permanent, full-time appointment. 
 
As our Senior Research Analyst, Program Quality, you will lead the planning, management and delivery of Program Quality and Survey Services within the Office of University Planning and Analysis. The mission of the department is to facilitate informed decision-making by providing timely, relevant information to the University. 
 
Specifically, the Senior Research Analyst is responsible for: 
  • planning and facilitating academic program reviews, assisting program review chairs, conducting surveys and preparing statistical reports to support the program review process, and recommending enhancements to the program review policy and procedure. 
  • undertaking research projects on a wide range of topics, determining appropriate methodologies, writing and presenting reports.

You are someone who can work extremely well with students, faculty, and administrators to define information needs, define appropriate data collection methods, and provide advice in a service-oriented manner. 
 
You have a Bachelor's Degree with minimum three years related experience and knowledge of statistical analysis, statistical software such as SPSS (or equivalent), and comprehensive understanding of survey methodology, including survey software (e.g. Checkbox, LimeSurveys).
