Tenure-Track Position in Statistics

The Department of Mathematics and Statistics of the University of Ottawa invites applications to fill one tenure-track position in Statistics at the Assistant Professor level, to begin 1 July 2019.

Title of the position: Assistant professor.
Duties: The functions of a member of the academic staff include, in varying proportions: a) teaching activities; b) scholarly activities pertaining to research and / or professional work; c) academic service activities, d) supervision of graduate students.
Terms: Tenure-track position.
Wage: Salary scales for Assistant is starting at $85,280 (as of May, 2019).

Skills requirements: 
-    Education: Ph.D. or equivalent in Statistics. 
-    Work experience: 

We are seeking candidates with a proven track record in research, who can teach at undergraduate and graduate levels, and who have the desire and ability to supervise graduate students. Excellent candidates in all areas of Statistics are encouraged to apply.
