King’s University College at Western University, a Catholic Liberal Arts College, invites applications for a
probationary tenure-track appointment in Mathematics/Statistics at the rank of Assistant Professor, effective
July 1, 2020 (subject to budgetary approval).

Candidates should have a Ph.D. in Statistics, Financial Mathematics, or Data Analytics. A commitment to
excellence in undergraduate teaching is expected, and a strong track-record of teaching is an asset.

The successful candidate will teach mostly required introductory first and second year courses in statistics,
finite mathematics, calculus, and linear algebra. They will also assist with the development and teaching of
new quantitative courses with statistical and computational components.

Candidates should also show promise for research in areas complementary to one or more of management,
economics, finance, or other social sciences.
