Distinguished Service Award
The Distinguished Service Award is intended to honour a person who has contributed substantially and over a period of several years to the operation or welfare of the SSC.
Nominations
- A nomination consists of a recent curriculum vitæ, at least two letters of support, and a suggested citation to accompany the award.
- A recipient of the Service Award must be a member of the SSC.
- Nominations are submitted to the Chair of the Awards Committee at sscawards-chair@ssc.ca.
- The SSC values and encourages Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion in all of its nominations and awards. Please see the SSC guidelines on implicit bias (pdf).

The Distinguished Service Award is awarded to a person who has made substantial contributions to the running or welfare of SSC over a period of several years. A recipient of the Distinguished Service Award must be a member of the SSC.
