Applications for the Student and Recent Graduate Committee
The Statistical Society of Canada is soliciting applications for the Student and Recent Graduate Committee (SARGC). We are currently recruiting students and recent graduates who are passionate about statistics and want to get more involved in the SSC.
Whether to expand your social network, to help improve the services provided to students by the SSC or to gain experience on a committee, there are many benefits to involvement in the SARGC. In addition, members of the SARGC will have an important role to play in organizing the student conference and other activities at the Annual Meeting. We are looking for creative and enthusiastic students and recent graduates from different backgrounds who are willing to serve on the SARGC for terms of 2 years. To apply, you must meet the following criteria:
- Be a member in good standing of the Statistical Society of Canada (you should be registered as a student or recent graduate member) ;
- Be registered as a student in a statistics-related degree program or to have received your most recent degree in 2012 or later.
